The DESPADA DS5492 takes the versatility of a clip-on frame one step further, offering two interchangeable clip-on lenses for two different settings.
The optical frame features a lightweight geometric silhouette in warm gold-tone metal, accented with translucent clear-pink details along the rim and temples. The softly squared shape keeps the design contemporary, while the combination of gold and blush tones gives it a lighter, more feminine character.
Two clip-on lenses come with the frame. The gradient brown polarized lens provides a classic sunglasses option with 100% UV protection, while the light yellow lens offers a brighter alternative for darker conditions and is particularly suited to driving in low-light environments. Both clip-ons follow the frame closely, preserving its original proportions when attached.
More than simply converting an optical frame into sunglasses, the DS5492 is designed around different moments of the day—clear lenses for everyday wear, brown for bright outdoor conditions, and yellow when visibility needs a little more contrast.
